About Allison

With a diverse background in graphic design, marketing and high-tech sales, I bring a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving understanding to the role of a Virtual Assistant. My journey began as a graphic designer and led me to the tech industry where I excelled in account management and sales roles at Oracle and Salesforce. Guided by my creative spirit, I pursued my passion to become a Pastry Chef and founded a custom cake company in San Francisco. During a break to start a family, I discovered a new purpose in developing a supportive community for moms. My desire to blend my technical foundation with creativity brought me back to the world of graphic design and digital marketing.

Currently as a digital marketer, I specialize in crafting custom funnels and workflows, logo design and branding while utilizing my CRM knowledge to create seamless processes. I enjoy connecting personally with others while contributing to the collective growth of the community. I recognize that even with fantastic training, initial steps can be overwhelming. I'm here to help you navigate the learning curve faster!

Q.A With Allison

1.  What inspired you to become a Virtual Assistant?

Becoming a virtual assistant was a natural evolution for me, inspired by a genuine enthusiasm for this software and courses. I faced challenges early in my digital marketing journey, and a coach's outreach turned it around. This personal support not only inspired me but revealed the immense impact a helping hand can have. Now, as a Virtual Assistant, I aim to pay it forward. My journey has taught me the value of support and I aspire to inspire and uplift others, especially women, as they navigate their own paths in the digital landscape.

2.  What's the Most Unusual or Fun Task You've Ever handled as a VA?

One of the most exciting tasks I encountered as a VA wasn't an assignment but rather a solution to a collective challenge–designing a system to capture leads and facilitate sales for Captivation Hub and course affiliates. The process was filled with trial and error. Workflows, like an exhilarating game of chess, provide infinite problem-solving possibilities. I was challenged to push my limits and explore beyond what I initially deemed possible. The discovery was a thrilling experience!

3.  If you could have an ideal client, what would they be like?

My ideal client is someone with a genuine desire to learn but may be grappling with discouragement or time constraints; challenges I can empathize with as a full-time mom of three young children. I find immense joy in providing mentorship, inspiration, and encouragement. Whether expediting the learning curve or facilitating quicker implementation, my ideal client is someone who values assistance as much as I appreciate the rewarding experience of being of service.

4.  What's your favorite Productivity Tool or App, and Why?

ChatGPT is an invaluable resource for refining and articulating thoughts, emotions, desires, and passion. With the right guidance and prompts, it becomes a powerful tool to narrow down your niche and focus your business goals. In the realm of graphic design, Canva has consistently impressed me with its features and functionalities and is remarkably similar to other graphic design software I've used in the past. As a visual learner and teacher, I leverage Pinterest to create mood and inspiration boards to spark creativity and visualize concepts and ideas.

5.  If you could pick any place in the world as your virtual office, where would it be and why?

My dream virtual office would be a castle tower above a bakery in a medieval city with stained glass windows, a permanently lit Christmas tree, and a full-time barista. As a visual learner, my creative spirit is deeply influenced and inspired by my environment.

6.  What is one thing most people find challenging that you LOVE to help people with?

One thing most people find challenging is dealing with overwhelming situations and procrastination rooted in fear. Drawing from empathy and my personal experience of overcoming difficulties, I help them navigate these hurdles and refocus on their long-term goals. By turning challenges into opportunities for growth, I find immense fulfillment in guiding individuals through these moments and empowering them to embrace a positive and strategic mindset, while inspiring resilience and confidence.
